Passed away peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, in St. Elizabeth’s Hospice on August 3rd, a week before his 81st birthday.

Beloved husband of Delia (nee Davies), treasured Dad of David, Susan and Elizabeth, caring Father-in-law to Helen and Duncan and cherished Grandad of Lily, Amy, Jack and Atticus. A precious friend to all.

A private family service will be held at Ipswich Crematorium on Wednesday 26th August.

Thoughts

It’s still hard to believe it’s true, but on 3rd August 2020 the world lost a Titan and we lost our amazing Dad (husband, father-in-law, Grandad and friend). He was brave and strong until the end after a long, hard battle with cancer. Whilst we are devastated, we are finding comfort in each other, in the incredibly strong and loving family he and Mum built for us and because he’s not suffering anymore. Loved by so many, he was a thoroughly honest, kind, funny, intelligent, generous and genuine man who had interest and time for everyone. We will treasure the memories of him forever - and there are so many to make us smile, laugh and cry! Thank you for being you Dad. We love you and are going to miss you so much, every moment of every day xxxxx
